Meet your local guide and Immerse yourself in the mysterious history of New Orleans in the French quarter. See some of the haunted houses and learn about burial rites and voodoo practices. During this walk, your guide will take you to the most haunted places and tell you the story of the ghosts and vampires and the voodoo rituals that have marked the history of this neighborhood, which has also been the setting for movies and television shows devoted to the occult, from the series True Blood to the movie Interview with the Vampire, to season 3 of American Horror Story. You'll also hear the story of Marie Laveau, who became involved in divination, the occult and magic, and had a snake she named Zombi after an African deity.
