Operators MUST be 18 years or older AND provide a Valid Driver's License at the time of check-in. (ID Cards and Passports are NOT accepted underDelaware Law § 2213.)2.) I was born before January 1, 1978, or have successfully completed a boating safety course that is approved by the State of Delaware. Here are 4 different state approved courses you can choose from to complete![Interactive Boaters Safety Course][Boat-Ed][Boater-Exam][Boat US]Please make sure to bring a copy with you so we can verify this requirement!3.) Operators MUST have a basic understanding of the English Language.4.) All Boats MUST Remain in the Rehoboth Bay or Lewes Canal.(THIS MEANS NO INDIAN RIVER BAY/INLET/PARADISE GRILL)5.) Operators CANNOT be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.PLEASE NOTE:Failure to meet any of the above criteria will result in a refusal of the rental equipment and NO REFUND.
